Every year we have over 5000 visitors to our Christmas Light Display. Imagine living on our street!  Many thanks to our wonderful neighbours who have awesome patience!

In 2009 we raised over 2500lbs in food and over $1500 in cash for our local food bank.  But wait it gets better!!!!!  In 2010 we raised over 4000lbs in food and over $4000 in cash!!!  What will 2011 bring???   

The biggest question every year is "How much is your hydro bill?"
Well suprisingly enough not as much as everyone may think.  Almost all of our lights are led so for the whole month of December it runs us approximately $400 more.   This is a small price to pay for the joy we share with everyone....and don't forget the food bank!!!

A few years back we decided to upgrade our house panel to a 200amp service.  There is 100amps that are solely dedicated to the outside lights.  We have never maxed that.....yet!

Well last year I didn't count, however....in 2009 I did count and it was over 140 man hours of labour.  Thats why I stopped counting!  It takes a day and a half just to run the extension cords!  I'm sure the it takes much longer now as we have added over 15,000 lights since then!
